Game Critic
Jeremy Fones first learned of his love for videogames after receiving an NES for Christmas. Not content with simply playing the games anymore, Jeremy has also come to enjoy analyzing them too. Thanks to GameCritics.com, Jeremy has finally stopped explaining the merits of games to his cats and now has a public forum to express his opinions.
Jeremy has had an interest in the creative arts ever since he can remember--music, acting, drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, etc.--and always knew that that's what he'd be doing someday. After high school, Jeremy planned on going into drafting but two instruments changed his mind: The tattoo machine and the computer mouse. Jeremy was always mesmorized by the permanent markings some adults wore on their skin, and constantly wondered how they were applied. He found out at age 19 and started what he thought would be his career as a tattoo artist. But, Jeremy soon found that marking people's skin permanently made him nervous, and decided to pick up a more passive artistic medium. This is when Photoshop entered his life and he's still sticking with it to this day.
Of course, the one artistic medium that Jeremy has always wanted to work in is videogames. Jeremy has just recently found out that he's been accepted to Nintendo University (a.k.a. DigiPen Institute of Technology) to finally pursue that career. So, it looks like he'll soon be creeping up the west coast to Redmond, Washington. Jeremy, of course, couldn't be happier with the prospect of actually being involved in this great industry and can't wait to get started.
